1. INSTALL BACK DOOR WEIGHT (w/ Weight)

  1. Install the back door weight and guide with the 3 bolts.

    Torque:
    12 N*m{ 122 kgf*cm , 9 ft.*lbf }



2. INSTALL HIGH MOUNTED STOP LIGHT ASSEMBLY

  1. Install the high mounted stop light with the 2 clips.

  1. Connect the connector.



3. INSTALL BACK DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE

  1. Install the back door outside handle with the bolt.

    Torque:
    7.0 N*m{ 71 kgf*cm , 62 in.*lbf }

  1. Connect the connector.

  1. Engage the 2 clamps.



4. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY

  1. Install the back door lock assembly with the 3 bolts.

    Torque:
    7.5 N*m{ 76 kgf*cm , 66 in.*lbf }

  1. Connect the connector.



5. INSTALL DOOR PULL HANDLE

  1. Engage the 4 claws and install the door pull handle.



6. INSTALL REAR WIPER MOTOR GROMMET

  1. Apply MP grease to the entire surface of the wiper motor grommet lip.

    		MP grease

    HINT:
    Make sure that the hole does not get clogged with grease and the grooves on the lip are filled with grease.

  1. Install the rear wiper motor grommet with the mark directed up.

7. INSTALL REAR WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY

  1. Install the rear wiper motor with the 3 bolts.

    Torque:
    5.5 N*m{ 56 kgf*cm , 49 in.*lbf }

  1. Connect the connector.



8. INSTALL REAR WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY

  1. Clean any metal powder off the serrated part of the wiper arm with a round wire brush or the equivalent (when reinstalling).

  1. Clean the wiper pivot serrations with a wire brush.

  1. Operate the wiper, and then stop the rear wiper motor in the automatic stop position.

  1. Install the rear wiper arm into the position shown in the illustration with the nut.

    		Mark for Blade Position

    Torque:
    5.5 N*m{ 56 kgf*cm , 49 in.*lbf }

    HINT:
    Hold the arm hinge down by hand while tightening the nut.

  1. Close the rear wiper arm head cap.



9. INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM BOARD

  1. Engage the 9 clips and install the back door trim board.
